For the production and supplier of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent, special production equipment and production line shall be used to synthesize and compound polycarboxylic acid system water reducing agent. It is not allowed to use the production line with other water reducing agents to synthesize or compound polycarboxylic acid system water reducing agent. In addition, the transportation and storage of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent shall not be made of iron (except stainless steel), but plastic, glass and other materials. Contact with iron sometimes causes the change of the performance of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent.

Resolutely avoid mixing other kinds of admixtures

It is forbidden to mix other water reducing agents or other kinds of admixtures, which has two meanings. One is that the compounding of polycarboxylate superplasticizer (such as lignosulfonate, air entraining, defoaming, retarding and other components) can only be carried out by the additive manufacturer or supplier. Another meaning is that concrete mixing equipment, transport vehicles and pumping equipment are best fixed for concrete mixed with polycarboxylate superplasticizer. When mixing equipment, transport vehicles and pumping equipment are shared, these equipment must be thoroughly cleaned before they can be used as concrete mixed with other kinds of admixtures, and vice versa.

Strictly measure water reducer and mixing water

When preparing the concrete mixture mixed with polycarboxylate superplasticizer, the best dosage and water consumption determined by the laboratory should be strictly measured, and the dosage or water consumption of superplasticizer should not be increased at will, so as to avoid segregation, bleeding, hardening, air content increase and other adverse phenomena in the mixed concrete, which will affect the normal pumping construction and pouring quality of concrete. The moisture content in raw material sand and stone aggregate must be accurately measured and deducted from the total water consumption, so as to eliminate the adverse consequences caused by inaccurate detection of moisture content in sand and stone aggregate.
